The Comfort Room
Inspired by the insecurities of my fellow creators and artistic peers, this piece is located in the restroom of the Center For Fine Arts on the second floor at Hanover College. Insecurities are personal but ironically we also share many of the same ones. Personal yet universal. As an artist and someone pursuing a career centered around creativity, I am always open for critique. Vulnerability is something I have to face on a daily basis and at some point we all do. I feel as though it would be impossible to have the one without the other. Our creativity is influenced by the things that make us feel vulnerable; things like our insecurities.
Insecurities, we all have them.
